Mar 29, 2018 - A Vista gang member was sentenced Thursday to more than 16 years in prison for gun trafficking and for being a felon in possession of.

The mexican gangs are always going to fight with eachother over anything. The black gangs are generally more interested in making money for themselves, and won't really start conflict unless necessary. Escondido has the Diablos and Westside gangs. This is one of the oldest rivalries out here.
Diablos far out number Westside gang which is why they have had the upper hand for quite some time. Recently Westside has been declining and created an off-shoot called OFK. OFK a couple years ago was just a tagging crew, but now they're becoming a force because they have allied with South Los, which has quietly been taking over North County (working their way down from LA). As far as territory, in general I like to say Diablos are fruit streets (fig, date, grape etc) and Westside are numbered streets. San Marcos- You have San Marcos Wolfpack and San Marcos Ghost Town. Sometimes they're rivals, sometimes they're buds. East west quantum leap silk crack free torrent. They're dying off because South Los is cleaning them out.
Vista has Vista Home Boys- They're unpredictable and violent (Libby Lake murders a couple years ago). They beef with San Marcos but it really changes often Oceanside you have Posole which is one of the oldest gangs in San Diego, and Center Street. They're rivals. There's the Mesa Locos there who don't get along with anyone. There's also the Deep Valley Bloods and Crips. Further up north there's the Fallbrook locos. They'll travel down and pick fights with almost anyone.
The cool/weird thing to me is that all of the Mexican gangs here are controlled by the Mexican Mafia (La Eme/13). So they're all technically working for the same 'cause' or people, but they still fight over alot of stuff. If you look closely you'll see everyone puts '13' in their tagging (ex/ Diablos-EVD13). The letter 'M' is the 13th letter in the Alphabet. In the end, the Mexican Mafia makes all the decisions. Check out American Me on Netflix, it's an awesome movie about the rise/creation of the Mexican Mafia.
For me, I'm worried about South Los because they are a very powerful gang and have been picking fights with anyone in their path. For most people, you shouldn't walk around these towns in fear, there's crime everywhere. I would suggest not walking around at night in a neighborhood you don't know but there's good and bad people everywhere. Source: I work in law enforcement in SD county. What 'gang situation'? I've lived here my whole life and I've never had any interaction with a gang. That being said I do have knowledge of various gangs through high school and my dad working in a position in Oceanside that put him in contact with various gangs.
